Civil Engineering:
 
Goal :

The programme aims to develop skills in the students so as to take up the challenges in the role of site supervisor, junior engineer, estimator and valuer as well as assistant in the field of research and development related with civil engineering.

Opportunities :

Placement opportunities are available at government departments like municipal corporations, Zilhaparishad, PWD, NTP,MSEB, Railways, Irrigation and Maharashtra Jeevan Pradhikaran  and also in private sector with contractors and architects. Government of Maharashtra also provides self employment scheme to these students by offering registrations as contractors upto Rs. 15 lakhs. Diploma students can register cooperative society and through this they can get various contracts and such self employment works.

Surveying jobs done by total station, computerized contour surveys, Repairs of surveying     instruments.

Applied Mechanics Dept:-
Building Material Testing, Concrete Mix design, Scrutiny of RCC designs of buildings, Overhead water tanks, Hardness testing of various metals etc.
