Electrical Engineering: PROGRAMME PROFILES
ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING PROGRAMME
Goal :

This programme is designed to provide the students with knowledge of Electrical machines and equipment. After completion of this programme the students will be able to design, estimate and supervise various domestic and industrial electrical installations. The students can acquire skills to effectively work as Supervisor, designer and production engineer for electrical machinery.

Opportunities:

Students can find placement as sub-ordinate engineers in M.S.E.B, PWD, Railways various semi-government and private organizations. The students also have sufficient scope for self employment.
Infrastructure:
a) Staff: Head of department, 7 lecturers and supporting staff.
b) Laboratories: Various laboratories in the department include:
- Base Measurement and Relays Laboratory
- Electrical Workshop
- Electrical Machines Laboratory
- Power Systems Laboratory
Special equipment in the department include:

-Electrical Power System Simulator
 -Induction Heating Unit
Activities:
